SpaCom International announces launch of its Bat-Caddy™ – Electric Golf Caddy series

Huntington, NY – SpaCom International announced the launch of its Bat-Caddy – Electric Golf Caddy product line. This newly designed and innovative series of battery powered golf push carts which lets golfers preserve the traditional etiquette of walking the course but eliminates the need for unhealthy and energy consuming carrying of golf bags or pulling them behind you.

The first model to go on the market is the innovative Bat-Caddy X2 which is a superior and cost-effective solution in the growing market for battery powered golf push carts. The X2 has been designed to include a series of outstanding features that provide you with desirable benefits to make a golfer’s life easier on the course. The caddy’s unique look comes from an elegantly designed, sleek and robust aluminum frame available in seven colors. The cart’s smart design enables assembly and disassembly in less than 30 seconds. Its folded dimensions of only 32x15x11” let it fit in nearly every trunk or even accompany you in its carrying bag on a plane trip to far destinations. A durable battery and a powerful 160W motor will haul even heavy bags up any hill with an incline of up to 20˚, and its swivel front wheel makes it very maneuverable even around the tightest corners.

“We are very excited about this product launch, because it will provide golfers with a healthier alternative to both full size golf carts, as well as conventional pull carts.” says Peter Hanneforth, President of SpaCom International. “In addition Bat-Caddy represents an outstanding value in the growing market for electric golf trolleys around the world. We believe that the market will be very perceptive to this innovation. The caddies can also be rented out by golf courses and are likely to have a quick return on investment.”

Distribution of the Bat-Caddy will be handled exclusively through a regional network of dealers, pro-shops and distributors who can sign up for distributorships as of now. A broad audience of golf industry professionals will have the opportunity to look at the Bat-Caddy first hand at Booth #7005 during the upcoming PGA Merchandise Show from Jan. 27-30, 2005 in Orlando, FL.
